Dear East Central High School Families,
It's time to get ready for an exciting new school year!
Returning Student Registration opens Monday, July 6. Completing registration as early as possible helps us finalize schedules, prepare campuses, and ensure your student is ready for the first day of school.

Once registration is complete, please follow the timeline below to prepare for the start of school.
Step 1: Complete Online Registration
Complete your student's online registration before attending Prep Days.
Step 2: Attend Your Assigned Prep Day
Location: East Central High School Main Campus
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
New Students
(Students who are brand new to ECISD or did not attend ECISD last school year)
- Monday, July 20 or
- Thursday, July 23
Returning Students
- Tuesday, July 21: 11th & 12th Grades
- Wednesday, July 22: 9th & 10th Grades
- Thursday, July 23: All Grade Levels (make-up day)
During Prep Days, students will:
- Pick up their draft schedule
- Finalize classes
- Receive important campus information
Step 3: Join Us for Welcome to the Hive!
Tuesday, August 4
4:00–6:30 p.m.
Meet teachers and staff, explore clubs and organizations, connect with the PTSA, visit the Athletic Boosters, and get a firsthand look at everything East Central High School has to offer before the first day of school.
We look forward to welcoming all Hornets back for another outstanding year.
