Once your student decides to go to college, the cost of a college education can be overwhelming.
Read through each of the scholarships to make sure that your student qualifies for the scholarship before she/he applies.
Meet all deadlines and include all necessary paperwork per the scholarship.
If looking for a scholarship, please visit the website of the college or university that your student plans to attend and do a search for scholarships. In many cases, those scholarships are only for that college. Also, very few students actually complete scholarship applications, so the applicant pool is small.
